We had a relaxing Sunday afternoon after church this morning. Abby ran around the house in high heels until nap time. She walks around in them really well.
While she was prancing around the house, I made a Strawberry Blueberry Cobbler Cake that I found on the Lick the Bowl Clean blog. It was very good as you can see from the pictures. Abby ate it right from the pan.
After taking afternoon naps, we left out for the zoo -- knowing it was too hot for the animals to be out and about but we figured we would have a good time just walking around. From the zoo, we left and went to Airport Park Beach area for a picnic and time to play with the soccer ball.
With all the hustle and bustle that we have had these last couple of weeks, it was nice just to have time to enjoy each other and spend the time together. Here are a few pics of our day....
