ZOOBILEE! Light Up the Night for Cameron Park Zoo

We had a great time playing at the Zoobilee event that was held as a fundraiser for the Cameron Park Zoo. The kids snacked on food from various resturants from around town, played on the slides and inflatables and all out, just had a great time.

It's Summer - School's Out Party Remake

At the end of the school year, we had planned a party that had to be cancelled due to the weather. Well the remake party was held last Friday night. There were fifteen kids over having a great time in the heat of a Texas Friday night. I think everyone had a great time. It's hard to believe that most of these kids are going to be Freshman next year.

It's Time To Dance Dance Dance....

The girls both did a great job and we enjoyed the show as always. Blaine's dancing has come so far this year. It was a joy to watch her perform her dances (all thirty of them).

This year, she was award the "Ally Pointe Solo" award (named after a young dancer, who loved pointe ballet, from the studio who passed away way too young from injuries in a car accident). This award earned Blaine a free pointe solo routine for the upcoming year. We were very proud of her for earning this. Also, this summer she is taking fifteen hours of dance per week to move up on the Senior dance company this fall and has started working with the Tots class, learning to be a teacher. That is wonderful as well. I know she will do a great job with the little ones in class and will share her love of dance with them all.

It's hard to believe that it's been three years ... I never would have imagined that day being the last time I would hear my dad ask me if I wanted something to drink or that it would be the last time he would speak about all those that he loved so dearly.

He had so much to say about everyone. It still amazes me to this day. I thank the lord each and every day that I was there that day to hear those thoughts of his and to be there for him when he needed me to be. He loved us all so dearly and I know he is watching over us from heaven and is very proud of all of us.
