19th Anniversary

On February 27th, Aaron and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary.

It's hard to believe that the years have gone by so fast. It seems like just yesterday when my dad was pacing back and forth at the church (I almost think he was more nervous than I was), Aaron had been at church waiting for the afternoon to arrive for hours with his friends, and then 2pm finally came. I wouldn't change anything about our wedding -- it was our day created exactly the way we wanted -- simple and wtih all our family and friends surrounding us as our two lives became one.

We took a quick trip to Austin for our anniversary - we ate dinner at the Mesa Ranch, walked around an outdoor shopping area near our hotel and had coffee and dessert at Starbucks. Once again, simple and the way that we wanted to spend our time together.

Looking forward to many many more years!
 

 

Texas Circuit FInals (January too)

Went to watch the Texas Circuit  finals in early January. Here are a few photos.
 

 

 

 

Fishing in January at the neighbor's tank

Just a quick fishing excursion over to the neighbor's tank -- the catfish were biting without a problem. We didn't get a photo of Abby's line get broken and taken away by her catch but it was probably a big ole fish that took her line away. Once the sun set, it got cold quickly and the fish stopped biting. We'll have to take another sunday afternoon excursion here soon and see how we do now that the weather is warming up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Starbound Dallas March 2012

To Infinity and Beyond - Happy 3rd Birthday, Riley

Happy 3rd Birthday to our little man! He had a rip roaring, fun loving, toy filled party at the Jump N Place today with his friends from school and his cousins, along with aunts and uncles, Mema and Boppie, and Nanny. It was lots of fun for certain. Everyone played and then played some more after dinner.
It's hard to believe that this little guy is now three years old.


A few tidbits about Riley at 3:
*weighs 28#
*loves cows and tractors
*Toy Story is a favorite -- along with Buzz and Woody
*Favorite food chicken and french fries
*stills thinks his paci is a necessity
*Ivy (in the pics below) is his girlfriend
*knows exactly how to feed the "real" cows and how much they need
*loves donut holes and chocolate milk for breakfast
*knows his ABCs and can count
